Winding Down the Old Year

Posted by PicasaThis is the Nugget Casino and we will be going there New Years Eve later on in the evening. We will be going to our club house at the Charleston Peak RV Park for games music comradery and see the New Year in New York Time then will go to see if our tickets get called down at the Nugget as they start drawing at 12:15 AM 2008.
Since we moved back here to this park on Thursday we got settled in Ray went to his pool tournament and as I suspected he did win with his new pool cue. Friday we went to Las Vegas, stopped at Costco then went to Fitzgerald's Casino on Fremont Street. The FITZ they call it, one of the older Casino's in the downtown part of Las Vegas. We visited our Friends Shirley and Bill as they were staying at the Fitz. We stayed late enough to see the beautiful light show, it is the most amazing sight I have ever seen. It is in the walk way they have for all of the downtown Casino's, it is all done by Laser really a sight to see.
2007 was good and bad, I will remember it as it was the year I lost my best friend and sister Doriea. I'm sure she is in a better place but I sure do miss her. Happy New Year to all of our family and friends in 2008 hope it is a great year for everyone.

Picture at Preferred RV Park

This is a picture of inside the Preferred RV Park showing a totem pole
and of course Ray with Mugsie & Suzy. We had gone for a walk to the Burger King around 2 blocks away. They had a double patty double cheese burger for $1.00 so we each got one and gave to extra patty to the dogs. (oops I mean mugsie & suzy) I am learning how to put the pictures on and can't seem to get both on the same post so will add to the next photo of the Preferred RV Park at the entrance.

Boxing Day (at least in Canada)

Happy Boxing Day, what a relief the holiday is over and now we get down to what we want to do for the coming New Year. I am like everyone else wanting to lose at least 10 more lbs and get fitter. Watched and participated in the Pilate's video that my sister Edna gave me. One has to be like a pretzel to do all of those moves. I did try it and our dog Mugsie attached me as she could see my concentration was elsewhere. Do feel stronger though so will try to get some movement into my life.
Ray will be trying out his new pool cue that Santa brought him for Christmas. He was good before but watch out now. He has a tournament today at 7 pm in the club house.
Christmas was good got to talk to Tanya and Darin, Daughter and Son along with Nicholas and Alexander. (grandchildren) They were having people over and a great time opening gifts.
Todd my youngest Son was enjoying the time off. Tony and family in Japan were going out for festivities. Eric, Lana oldest son and daughter, Spencer, grandson went to Dominion Republic for an all inclusive Christmas. Ray's youngest Son Joel in Switzerland called on the 24Th. Exciting and rewarding life we live. They may be miles away but right here in our heart.

No wonder I never win playing pool. I was quite well some cramping but nothing like today, it really hit me I eat breakfast and the pains etc has been wicked all I will do is sipe
water because I don't want to go through more of that.
We move tomorrow to Preferred RV Park it is close to down town Pahrump. Will take a picture and share it with you. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

Proper Introduction:

I took this picture right from Picasa2 and it worked. This is a photo we took this summer of Ray holding Suzy & Diana holding Mugsie. In the background is our 2006 Jayco Designer. We love our home it is 37 ft with 4 slides. We travel throughout Alberta and British Columbia doing Site Map Guides for RV Resorts. We have 22 RV Resorts that we continue to go to every year and renew and update their site map. The way is to renewing and getting new advertisers that go into these guides. They are the means to which pays for the printing design work and our work. We love this lifestyle and have been doing it on our own for 5 years. We did prior to starting our company Readi Guide Services work for 2 different Companies in the USA. That meant traveling from Canada to California, right through to Florida. It was fun but very hard on our RV. Will update further later on today both Ray and I have a bit of food poisoning from a chicken sandwich I made for supper last night.

Just showing how to do this

Here I am with Shirley she is going to start her own blog and I best be careful as she was a teacher & a Principal.

Here is Tony and Kaito showing off my teacher to Shirley and showing her how to download a picture.

Pancake Day Sunday's

Can't imagine being up and at it before 8 am but here I am. It seems since we have come south I am the one to get up around 7am and Ray stays in bed of course there are Mugsie and Suzy to walk which has been done along with good girls when they get back home. Suzy being 25 lbs and being blind doesn't stop her from demanding the good girls as soon as she gets into the RV.
Mugsie is a little more discreet waiting for Suzy to make the moves.
(Here is a photo of the Charleston Peak RV Park & Winery)
We went out to the Saddlewest last night to get our tickets into the barrel as they have a draw at 7pm and give out 1 key for a Dodge Truck every week until New years Eve so far we haven't had our name called perhaps because we don't have to many tickets in. What I like about the Saddlewest is that they do have a non smoking section now this doesn't mean that your not going to reak of nico from the fumes in other room, You will. What I do is shower when I get home put the clothing in the truck to air over night then they are allowed back into our hamper. Time to get those Crepes on hope your all having a great Day!!

Laundry Day & Club House activities

Here it is Saturday today started off good at Charleston Peak RV Resort & Winerey, They have free tables for people to sell their crafts. I don't make any crafts anymore but thought I would set up a display with the StemEnhance and Stempets. People sometimes wont get something for their joints but their dogs are very important to them. It was fun at any rate and sat by a vet from the Veitnam war where he had lost both of his legs. He works with leather any makes some beautiful items. He is in pain all the time and is thinking of trying the StemEnhance which I only hope he does as I know how he would lose his pain. At lunch the resort was offering chilli dogs, sloppy joes and chili. It was good. Now have to go do the dreadful laundry but the alternative is worse who wants to smell bad. If any of you want to checkout the website that is set up for RVers by RVers go to www.geeksontour.com They have free videos's that teach you all kind of things.

Important message and Introduction

This is Suzy laying on top of Mugsie. Suzy went blind last Christmas and is 1 yr younger than mugsie so she likes to cuddle.

Ray & Diana are their walkers and drivers. I must say they pay us back with smiles and tails wagging. We are on vacation sort of now although we are full timers so to speak. Our pass time now is getting our new StemEnhance product to other Rvers We also have StemPets that we use for Suzy to help her with her blindness
You can check out our web site at www.newstemcellhealth.com It has helped me with my knee that had been in pain for 8 months and in 1 week only taking 2 StemEnhance a day the pain was gone. Now after only 2 months I can bend my knee walk miles and with no swelling or discomfort. Please check this out, it actually gets your own Stem cells from your bone marrow to go where it is needed to relive whatever inflammation etc.

1st entry of many thanks to Chris
