Casa Grande Canadian Barbeque

Fun Fun, went to the Sunscape RV Resort for the Canadians gathering for a Barbeque. We met people like ourselves that are full time RVers. It was a potluck and anyone could barbeque whatever they wanted. There was at least 70 people and the day was gorgeous. My sister -in-law Yvonne was the organizer and with a little of my brothers help they did a great job. I have a picture of the event and will post it tomorrow.

Tuesday after the big golf game

We had a great game yesterday, My Sister Edna and I rode in the same cart and I must say Edna's game has improved a lot since last summer. She took on my no practice swing and hit the ball good and always further than me. It must be because she is younger than me with more developed muscles. I am very proud of her progress. Today I will be going to the ladies pool tournament, tomorrow we are going to Sedona, AZ so watch for the photo's.

Campe Verde RV Park

Well we have been here for a whole 5 days so have alot of catching up to do. This is the friendliest park the people just all get involved in the activities. Sunday was the big superbowl party at the clubhouse and everyone brought goodies and I was able to have time to myself as Ray spent 3 hours watching it. Monday was a dart compitition and because there was a shortage in women I was the partner to Ray and two other guys. My last partner and I ended up winning the whole competition I'm not going to take credit as this was the first time I played darts since 1997. It was fun at any rate. Ray was in the pool tournament in the morning and out of 14 players he ended up 4th. Today Tuesday we did a tag along to a little Mexican Restaurant in Campe Verde they had $1.00 Taco's The company was better than the food.
Well the day wasn't over at 2pm it was ladies pool tournament. I really didn't want to go but I did end up fluking one win and then lost the next two games but both games I was down to 1 ball. It was fun and that's all it is about. Wil keep in touch more often Oh by the way our grandaughter Sheena is expecting a little girl. Thank you Sheena for the ultrasound. Love Ya

Here we are in Arizona

We left Vegas for Camp Verde Jan 31/08 and arrived by 3:30 pm as luckily we were abe to go over the Hoover Dam. Ray did me proud again, he is an excellent driver. We decided to go to the Casino for supper as they had steak and shrimp for $10.00. We were very dissapointed first of all had to wait for an hour and half and then the meal was trash. Steak was fatty, the shrimp gressy and mashed potatoes watered vegetable. After all the wonderful meals we had at the Silverton's Season's restaurant buffet. I decided to go back on my kimkins diet and drop the remainder 30 lbs I have to lose.
We are now at one of Western Horizen's Camp Verde RV Resort and it is a beautiful sunny Feb. 1st/08 We are enjoying having the WiFi and had a long walk with Mugsie & Suzy the stars of our rolling home. Talk to you soon.
